## From Your First Idea to Delivery

A photo, a rough sketch or approximate dimensions are enough to start a conversation. Tell us what you want to achieve and which details are still undecided. Final sizes and configuration will be confirmed before production.

### 1. Share your opening requirements

Choose an [opening type](/products/), or send a reference photo. Include quantities, dimensions with units and your Australian state or territory and delivery location when known. Use the [RFQ checklist](/resources/window-door-rfq-checklist/) if you already have a detailed schedule.

### 2. Confirm drawings, configuration and scope

Review the proposed frame, glazing, finish, hardware, dimensions and opening direction with your builder or installer. Match required documents to the selected configuration, then agree the quotation, payment terms and production schedule. Ask about a sample if you need to evaluate a configuration first.

### 3. Plan production and quality checks

We implement strict quality control throughout the entire production process, including raw material inspection, profile machining, assembly, glazing, hardware installation, performance checking, and final inspection before packing. Key items such as dimensions, surface finish, glass quality, hardware operation, sealing performance, and overall workmanship are carefully checked to ensure each product meets the approved drawings and order requirements.

Sample production: 10–35 calendar days. Bulk production: 25–45 calendar days. Production lead times do not include transport or import clearance. Confirm the production start, final schedule and delivery scope with your quotation.

### 4. Agree packing, transport and handover

We provide professional export packing and worldwide shipping support. Products are securely packed with protective film, foam, cartons, plywood cases, or timber frames according to product size and transportation requirements. We can assist with container loading, export documentation, and international shipping arrangements under commonly used trade terms such as FOB, CFR, and CIF.

Record the named handover point and who arranges freight, import clearance, taxes, onward delivery and unloading. Review these inclusions in the quotation before comparing delivered costs.

### 5. Prepare for receipt and local installation

Coordinate access, unloading, storage and installation with your local team. Check package labels and quantities on arrival, and photograph their condition. Confirm installation responsibilities in the order scope. Use the [packing and receiving checklist](/resources/window-door-export-packing-delivery-checklist/) to prepare.

### 6. Keep an order reference for follow-up

Keep the agreed drawings, opening IDs and order reference. If a question arises after delivery, [contact our team](/request-a-quote/) with the affected opening or component and photos. Confirm warranty terms, replacement freight and any site work responsibilities in writing with the order.

## Bring the Builder’s Requirements into the Inquiry

| Share with your schedule | Details to identify |
| --- | --- |
| Project location | State or territory and delivery location |
| Opening requirements | Sizes, units, operation and quantities |
| Builder or designer specifications | The requirements already identified for the project |
| Requested test records | Named product, configuration and relevant document references |
| Glass requirements | The proposed glass specification and any requested material records |
| Installation and delivery scope | Responsibilities, interfaces and items to include in the proposal |

## Choose the Opening Types

Explore [Sliding Doors](/doors/sliding-doors/), [Bifold Doors](/doors/bifold-doors/), [Awning Windows](/windows/awning-windows/), [Sliding Windows](/windows/sliding-windows/) and [Casement Windows](/windows/casement-windows/). List each opening type and quantity separately in a mixed schedule.

## Share the Project Requirements

Include the project specifications provided by your designer or builder, any requested test documentation, and the proposed installation responsibilities. Identify the state or territory so location-specific requirements can be discussed.

## Review Documents Against the Configuration

Ask for the documents relevant to the proposed series, dimensions and glazing. Our public collection includes redacted AS 2047 test previews for named window and door systems. Ask separately for any glass supplier documentation.

For example, public previews RD10 and RD16 identify an SU100 awning window and an AS138 sliding door. Request the complete records and compare their models and configurations with the proposed catalogue products.

## Define the Delivery Scope

Provide the state or territory and delivery location. Clarify packing, freight arrangements, import responsibilities and any excluded items when reviewing the quotation.

## Send Your Project Schedule

Include the product types, quantities, dimensions and any requirements that are already fixed.

## Use the named report when discussing your project

The public collection includes SU100 awning-window and SU150 stacker-sliding-door test previews. Request the complete records and any separate glass documents your project team requires for the proposed configuration.

## How do I start a factory-direct inquiry for an Australian project?

Send your opening schedule, project location and the requirements supplied by your builder or designer. Include any requested documents and delivery scope so we can discuss the proposed products from our own factory.

## Do you have window and door test documents for Australian project discussions?

Our factory collection includes AS 2047 test records for named systems. Ask for the documents relevant to the proposed product and configuration. Their presence does not mean every catalogue model or custom arrangement has the same documented scope.

## Why do you ask for the state or territory?

It identifies the project location and helps organize the requirements provided by your designer or builder. Send the applicable project specification instead of assuming that a general “Australian project” description provides all the necessary selection criteria.

## Does a glass supplier certificate cover the entire window?

No. A glass or insulating-glass document addresses its stated material product and scope. Request separate complete window and door records for the finished system proposed for the project.

## Can I specify bushfire, cyclone or other site-specific requirements?

State the exact requirement and documentation requested by the project team. These are not automatically included because a product appears on this market page. Availability and relevant evidence must be discussed for the proposed system.

## Can you give one delivered price including every import cost?

First define the delivery destination and responsibilities being requested. Packing, transport, import-related charges and other inclusions must be explicit in the proposal. Review any costs that remain outside the quoted scope before comparing delivered totals.

## Who handles installation and site coordination?

Include your local installation arrangements and required interfaces in the inquiry. Installation is not automatically included in a product quotation; responsibilities should be identified in the proposed scope.
